We see our project as much more than a project to raise funds for a new centre. By creating a special place where we can come together and practise the Dharma, we are living up to the ideal of altruism, and creating a tangible experience of interconnectedness. In a world in which there is such an emphasis on consumerism, we are providing an opportunity to go beyond the limits of our personal desires to something much greater. In two years time the rental contract will expire on our current property in Valencia, inspired by this deadline we have taken the decision to buy our own property. This is a big project for our Sangha and there are many opportunities for people to get involved – we are looking for people to invest money, raise money, make donations or simply volunteer to help the team. The best investment that we have available to the Sangha is ourselves – Order Members, Mitras and Friends – with every ones active participation and abundant creativity we can achieve our objective. Our latest initiative 108 Ways to Practise in 2007 will enable us to raise 64,000€ in just one year. Raising funds is an opportunity for practising generosity and simplicity together. The proposal is for 108 people to raise 600€ each during 2007/8, an average of 12.50€ per week, by giving up some treats and /or raising money. We already have a long list of ideas prepared to help you get started, if you don’t see anything which inspires you please get in touch with the team, together we can find a creative solution which will help you to help us.

This page is where each time you raise some money you could choose a way of communicating it to the Sangha. So let us know if you would like to be part of an ongoing account of our progress with one another. Of course you may choose to remain anonymous and do it in your own quiet way or maybe you would just like to make a one off donation of 600€. What ever way you choose to get involved please let us know today by writing to Dharmakirti, E-mail:-

They best way to convert other people to the Dharma Way, is to convert yourself to it first. Be an example for them to follow.
One natural act flowing out of good character is more convincing than the most eloquent speech."
